How to Create a Club in Clubhouse

The Clubhouse is a one-year-old chat app that generates a stir among individuals looking for a new social networking platform. However, because clubhouses are often invite-only, the app’s name emphasizes exclusivity.

The Clubhouse app allows you to create your club in the same way.

In this article, we’ll walk you through the stages and explain how the app works, how to host rooms and add themes, and how the invitation process works.

The Clubhouse App: What Is It and How Does It Work?

Let’s look at what the Clubhouse app is and how it works before we get into the specifics of how to utilize it and form groups. All of this will give you a better idea of how the app’s clubs and rooms work.

Users can listen to other people’s talks in the Clubhouse, which is an audio-based chat software. You can raise your hand, and the host of the conversation can involve you in the dialogue as well. People are mostly there to listen in on talks they wouldn’t have heard otherwise.

This is not to be confused with eavesdropping because everyone on Clubhouse wishes to be heard. Many well-known people, including celebrities, frequent the Clubhouse, which is one of the reasons users flock there.

On Clubhouse, unlike Twitter, you can listen to them having a long-form conversation with listeners. It’s similar to a podcast or a Zoom call but with hundreds or thousands of participants.

The Clubhouse Is (For the Time Being) An Invite-Only Facility

The software was not created to be exclusive, according to the Clubhouse official blog. The corporation intends to make it available to the whole public. However, given that users can only be invited to join the app, this appears to be inconsistent.

However, this is the business model they’ve chosen. If the delayed roll-out proves to be successful, the app will eventually be available to everyone. Officially, Clubhouse is still in beta, and it’s uncertain when it’ll be released to the public.

Before taking that step, Clubhouse leaders want to build more specific community norms, provide more efficient in-app safety tools, and foster inclusivity.

How does one become a member of Clubhouse?

If we ignore the debate around Clubhouse’s exclusivity, how does anyone gain access to it? An existing Clubhouse member must invite you.

That user was also able to join the app by invitation only. Every new user is given the ability to invite two more users.

As more people use the app regularly, that number will rise, as will membership. There’s also a third way, which doesn’t require an invitation but is likely more difficult.

Clubhouse hashtags can be followed or posted on other social media channels. If you manage to attract their attention with your posts, you can earn an invite from existing Clubhouse users.

On the iPhone, how can you create a club in Clubhouse?

The Clubhouse app is available in the App Store for iPhone users. If you were lucky enough to receive an invitation to Clubhouse, your goal would most likely be to create your club within the app.

A club is a place where users can have more intimate conversations with their chosen community. If you have a Clubhouse club, you must host recurring meetups with your followers to keep your club.

However, starting a club is easier said than done – in Clubhouse, it’s a slow and uncertain process. The app considers clubs to be an experimental feature for the time being, and they only allow clubs that they manually approve.

Also, even if they are permitted to create more than one club, each user is limited to just one. On the other hand, every user can request a club and wait for a response from the app. This is how it works:

  1. Go to the mainstream in the Clubhouse app on your iPhone.
  2. In the top right corner of the screen, tap on your profile photo.
  3. In the top right corner, tap the gear symbol. It has access to the app’s settings.
  4. Tap the “FAQ/Contact Us” button after scrolling down. It will take you to a webpage called “Clubhouse Knowledge Center.”
  5. Select the “How can I start a club?” option under “Frequently Asked Questions.”
  6. Click the “You can find the club request from here” option at the bottom of the page.
  7. Then fill out an application by following all of the procedures.

You’ll be asked to name your club and select the category to which it will belong. You must provide a brief description of the club (no more than 200 characters). Finally, you’ll enter your username as well as the day and time of any upcoming regular gatherings.

On an Android device, how can you make a club in Clubhouse?

Android users, on the other hand, are unable to download and utilize the Clubhouse software. At least not yet. The Clubhouse is currently only accessible for iPhones. You can download the app if you have an iPad, but you’ll quickly notice that the interface is optimized for iPhones alone.

There are more Android users than iPhone users on the planet; therefore, there’s a ready market for the Clubhouse app. They’ve started their roll-out schedule and their desire to reach everyone at some point.

We don’t know when the Clubhouse app will be released on the Play Store, but it’s safe to assume that it will. Unfortunately, there isn’t even an online version of the program.

What Do I Do Now That I’ve Started a Club?

How do you make the most of having your club if you were active enough on the Clubhouse app, organized regular meetups, and followed all of the rules?

Your club must fall into one of several areas, like sports, entertainment, languages, technology, locations, and so on. Your mission is to organize intriguing meetups on a specific topic in the hopes of enticing other people to participate in the discussion.

Go to your Clubhouse profile and tap the “Members of” option to discover where you can find your club in the app. Your club’s name and “badge” will be displayed. You’ll be led to your club after tapping on the badge.

Remember that you can also include a logo or a photo for your club. You’ll need to contact Clubhouse directly if you wish to change the name or description of your club at any stage. The club’s name is limited to 25 characters, while the description is limited to 150 characters.

What is the best way to ban users from your club?

Users can be blocked from joining your club in Clubhouse. Go to that person’s profile page and click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner of the screen. A pop-up menu will display, from which you must choose “Block.”

The user will be unable to enter your club or any room where you are the speaker due to this. The Clubhouse will also let you know which rooms they are speaking in. If you want to report a user to Clubhouse for violating community norms, you can choose the “Report an incident” option.

How Do You Invite People to Join Your Club?

Once you’ve been elected as the club’s administrator, you can invite people to participate in the discussion. For example, you may search your contacts and invite anyone on the list from Clubhouse. Another alternative is to look at your following and invite one of them.

Finally, you can construct a hidden invite link to send to people whose phone numbers you don’t have. The number of invites you will receive for your club will be determined by the success and activity of the club.

Your main goal is to hold as many meetups as possible, and you’ll get in-app notifications as the number of invites you’re authorized to send out climbs. If you’re an admin, you can also appoint a co-admin to take over as needed.

Reaching for the Clubhouse Admin Title

For the time being, the process of starting your club in Clubhouse appears to be unnecessarily difficult. However, this does not have to be the case. Sure, celebrities and other well-known people may receive all of the benefits right away.

Someone will eventually send you an invite if you maintain a consistent social media presence and follow the app’s community guidelines.

The most important thing to remember is that Clubhouse does not yet have an automated approval option, so you never know who will be granted access to their club.
