The Chairman of Obot Akara Local Government Council, Hon. (Lady) Agnes Udoenwenwen has assured a good working relationship between Obot Akara Local Government Council and Niger Delta Youth Parliament to enhance youths development
Lady Udoenwenwen gave the assurance on Monday when she received in audience the attention of the member representing Obot Akara/Ikot Ekpene/Essien Udim Federal Constituency in Niger Delta Youth Parliament, Comr. Aloysius Amama in her office at the Council Secretariat, Nto Edino.
Lady Udoenwenwen congratulated Comr. Aloysius Amama on his successful inauguration into the NDY-Parliament and described his visit as timely and necessary, noting that his decision to visit home first after his inauguration is a mark of respect to the Local Government Council
She advised the NDYP member to use the opportunity to add value to the youths of the Constituency, precisely youths of Obot Akara Local Government Area. She also encouraged Comr. Amama to continue to be loyal and committed towards supporting Government’s programmes and projects for the rapid development of the Constituency.
She however promised the MP her unflinching support and partnership with NDYP in building the youth and assured to respond to the calls of NDYP. She wished Comr. Amama a successful representation in the Parliament.
Meanwhile, the member representing Obot Akara/Ikot Ekpene/Essien Udim Federal Constituency in Niger Delta Youth Parliament, Comr. Aloysius Amama appreciated the Council Boss for her warm reception and assured the Council Boss his continuous support and positive contributions towards the development of the Constituency.
Comr. Amama commended the all-inclusive leadership style of Lady Agnes Udoenwenwen since her inception into office and thanked her for being a youth friendly Chairman.
He intimated the Chairman on the Forth-Coming Awarenesses campaign that was approved by the State Commandant of National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency-NDLEA, Akwa Ibom State. Tagged: NDYP ANTI-SOCIAL VICES/VALUES REORIENTATION CAMPAIGN which is proposed to hold on September across the ten Federal Constituency in Akwa Ibom State.
