Deanery Cathedraticum: Obot Akara Council Boss Worships With St. Peter’s Parishioners, Ikot Ukpong

The Executive Chairman, Obot Akara Local Government Council, Akwa Ibom State, Hon. Lady Agnes Udoenwenwen worshipped with parishioners of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Ikot Ukpong, and Catholic Faithfuls from Nto Edino Deanery as they received the Catholic Bishop of Ikot Ekpene Diocese, Most Rev. Dr. Camillus Raymond Umoh during 2021 Deanery Cathedraticum.

Lady Agnes Udoenwenwen in her address, thanked His Lordship, Bishop Dr. Camillus Raymond Umoh for his profound and unconditional love to Nto Edino Deanery, saying that the pastoral visit will further uplift the spiritual growth of Nto Edino Deanery and Ikot Ekpene diocese at large.

She further commended the Bishop for his numerous achievements in Ikot Ekpene diocese especially the National Retreat Center at Nko, Obot Akara Local Government Area. She also extolled His Lordship for the standard of education in Catholic schools in Obot Akara Local Government and prayed to God to strengthen the Bishop, Priests, and all Catholic faithfuls as they continue to serve in the Lord’s vineyard.

The Council Boss advised all the parishioners of St Peter’s Catholic Church, Ikot Ukpong to see the pastoral visit as an opportunity to work towards spiritual growth that will guarantee to evaluate life and to remain law-abiding citizens.

Other dignitaries in the church included Secretary to the Council, Hon. Augustine Esau, Councillors, and other political class.
