Christians have been urged to be committed in serving God and man with all their heart in order to attract God’s glory and favour.
Senior Pastor of Full Life Christian Centre, Rev. Ntia Ntia, gave the charge on Thursday, while admonishing faithfuls at the Prelate Mbang’s Chapel, Shelter Afrique, Uyo, during the October Anointing Service of the Chapel.
The Man of God who tagged his homily “From Glory to Glory” drawn from Philippians 2:5-11, said Christians must key into the responsibility of helping one another which is the reflection of God’s love and glory to all.
He urged faithfuls to constantly seek God’s grace in their daily lives and also desire to transform and better their lives.
“Everyone of us are candidates of God’s glory. We must live a life that reflects God’s glory. The glory of God is the appearance of divinity. Get better in wisdom and in character. Live a life that people will thank God that they met you”, he said.
On his part, Prelate Emeritus of the Methodist Church of Nigeria, Dr. Sunday Mbang, urged Christians to live a prayerful life and love one another.
He said the essence of the Chapel was to bring Christians together, while drawing them closer to God, despite their denominations.
Some members of the Chapel who expressed joy at the deep exposition of the sermon, said the teaching would help them demonstrate Christlike character to others.
Highlights of the service included a thanksgiving session, Anointing/Communion Session and prayers for peace in Nigeria and Akwa Ibom State.
The Service was graced by Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Akwa Ibom State, Obong Udo Ekpenyong, Commissioner for Economic Development and Ibom Deep Seaport, Mr Akan Okon, Immediate past Commissioner for Science and Technology, Dr. Iniobong Essien, amongst others.
