Lady Agnes Udoenwenwen Receives New Title as “Obongwnwan Emem”

The Chairman of Obot Akara Local Government Council Hon. (Lady) Agnes Udoenwenwen has been honoured by the people of Okpo Eto Ikot Imoh village with a new title as “Obongwnwan Emem”

The title was bestowed on the Council Chairman on Tuesday by the Palace of the village Head of Okpo Eto Ikot Imoh.

The honour according the village head, Etteidung Okokon Tom is based on her excellent performance in the Council and continuous support to the village.

Etteidung Okokon described Lady Agnes Udoenwenwen as a good leader who is passionate about the growth of the village and prayed for divine protection upon her life.

Reacting to the award, the Executive Chairman who was represented by the Councillor representing Nto Edino ward 2, Hon. Flourence Akpan thanked the village head, Etteidung Okokon Tom and the entire village for finding her worthy for the award of ” Obongwnwan Emem” and assure the village her continuous support.

He encouraged the people of Okpo Eto Ikot Imoh to continue to remain united and to remain law abiding citizens for the growth of the village.

The event featured different cultural display. Some dignitaries at the event were the Vice Chairman Obot Akara LGC, Hon. Uduak Akpan, Leader of Obot Akara Legislative Council, Hon. Mary Moses Akpana, Councillors, Traditional Rulers among others.

Engr. Bassey Ntuen- Obong Uforo.
Mrs. Philomena Bassey Ntuen, Obongwnwan Ima, Mr Otobong Otoro(infinity)- Otuekong Ibong, Prince Enyeneokpon Okokon Tom- Obong Ukeme, Hon. (Barr) Mkpadiah M. Mkpadiah- Obong Ifiok, Apostle Akpeng -Obong Unwana.
