Ancelotti: We are Capable of Playing Against Any Team in The World Without Mbappe

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti seems reluctant about Paris St Germain striker Kylian Mbappe, following increasing speculation the Frenchman could join the Spanish giant before the end of transfer window.

French media, L’Equipe reported that Ancelotti’s side have agreed to pay 180 million euros ($211.48 million) to secure the signature of Kylian Mbappe after their first offer of 160 million euro bid was rejected by PSG.

Kylian Mbappe, 22, became a Paris Saint Germain player in 2017 from AS Monaco on a loan deal at first following a permanent deal later sealed.

Mbappe who is interested in a move to Real Madrid has a year remaining on his PSG contract. The news of his move became more serious after PSG landed Lionel Messi from Barcelona earlier this month. “Strange question, I wasn’t expecting it,” Ancelotti playfully replied to a question on whether Real would get the Mbappe deal done, while a news conference was happening before his side logged horns with Real Betis.

Ancelotti reacted that the matter is not in his position to completely decide rather it’s one the club. Ancelotti clearly understand that it’s a matter of interest, but he can not say more. Mbappe is a great player, that’s the truth said the Italian. Ancelotti’s concentration is more on his current players. He reiterated that his current squad is great and good to go with. Reacting to queries, the Italian say his team can compete with any team in the world with the current squad.

The Italian also refused to talk on Mbappe’s bid amount, saying he is not concerned in the politics in football.

Similarly, Ancelotti did not talked on the assurance of Real Madrid signing Mbappe with any of his current squad.
He only focus on what he is hired to do at the club which is specially work and training.

He currently does not discuss about transfer with the club. Some players consider that they are not playing and feel they can leave and that’s their individual market.

With numerous competitions, which has a lot of games, as well, the Champions League is fast approaching, Ancelotti posed that his going to have a need for all of the players.

Real Madrid took on Betis as the last game before the international break, garnering four points in two games so far, after an opening day 4-1 win at Alaves and later sharing points with Levante in a tensed 3-3 draw.
