His father is a preacher in Ondo State, while his mother is a caterer. His older brother works as a producer, while his older sister performs gospel music. Reekado Banks grew up in a strict family because both of his parents are preachers.

At the age of 14, Rekaado Banks graduated from high school and began working on his debut album in 2008. In 2014, Reekado Banks earned a bachelor’s degree in history and strategic studies from the University of Lagos, UNILAG. Reekado Banks graduated with a Second Class Lower division (2-2). Don Jazzy, 2face Idibia, DJ Jimmy Jatt, Olamide, and M.I. have all been acknowledged as influential musicians in his musical approach.

His older brother created all of his songs when he was still a teenager and taught him the essentials of singing, writing, and producing, abilities that he would later refine to become one of Nigeria’s most in-demand singers. After his brother entered an internet talent hunt and submitted some of his recordings, Reekado Banks signed a record deal with Mavin Records. Mavin Records signed him after his tracks were chosen over the rest of the 5000 songs submitted. Back then, he went under the stage name Spicy.

Rekaado Bank cars

Reekado cars are somewhat unlike those ridden by other entertainers. Reekado is not the showy kind.

These are his cars:

Hyundai iX35

Following Reekado’s victory in the Headies 2015’s Next Rated category, he was awarded a Hyundai iX35 as the winner. The award show was overshadowed by drama and scandal involving two major producers, Don Jazzy and Olamide, as you may recall (who believed the award recipient should have been Lil Kesh, an artiste of his).

According to some, Kiss Daniel should have been given the award. Reekado Banks has proven time and time again that he deserved the accolade given to him by the songs he has released since then.

Lexus SC430 convertible / ₦6 million

Reekado Banks has also recently purchased the high-status Lexus SC430 convertible, which is well suited to his new status. This automobile has a price tag of $6 million (6 million Naira). Reekado Banks built a rather substantial home for his parents. It was the first thing he did, despite the fact that he was still living in a leased flat at the time. The musician disclosed that he had purchased his home after a few months.

Don Jazzy, Mavin’s boss, was thanked by Reekado for allowing him to achieve this. The artist also shared memories from his childhood, including times when he hoped for a clean toilet where he could eat if he so desired. As a child, the musician’s family only used a pit toilet.
